 With our Raven or Ag Leader monitors we can do variable-rate applications based off a prescription map. With this technology you’re PCA or crop advisor can generate a recommendation for a variable-rate map based on a combination of remote sensing, yield data, or soil samples. With variable-rate we can put the product where you need it, as apposed to a blanket application. Variable-rate applications can reduce production costs while still maintaining yields, not to mention the environmental benefits by not over applying unneeded fertilizers and chemicals. Variable-rate technology will also allow the farmer to better estimate the cost of the application.
